With callstack sorting, you can easily find out what is using a certain percentage of your CPU, regardless of where it is in the tree or where it’s called! Mojang Mappings

With other profiling software, it becomes hard to figure out what a piece of code is doing due to the obfuscation of the Minecraft server.
